Answer:

  • Back-UPS models that begin with BR, BE, BX, BN, BV, BK, BVN, BVK, & BGM have a Three-Year warranty on the UPS hardware and battery.
  • Portable Power Station models that begin with PPS (Portable Power Station), have a Two-Year warranty on the hardware
  • The warranty period starts at the original purchase date. When requesting a warranty service we may ask for proof of purchase if we are unable to verify warranty eligibility through other means.
  • Schneider Electric reserves the right to withhold warranty service due to misuse or product modification. Misuse includes improper installation, physical damage due to drops or impacts, exposure to liquids, opening of the product, or unauthorized repairs.

Additional Information:

  • Most Back-UPS models have optional extended warranties available. If your unit originally had a 3year/2year factory warranty, the extended warranty gives you an extra year of battery warranty.
    • Example: BR1500G has a 3 year hardware and battery factory warranty. If you purchase a 1 year extended warranty, the unit now has 4 years coverage for the hardware and the battery. Back-UPS warranties can be extended to a maximum total of 6 years (3 years Factory Warranty + 3 years Extended Warranty).
    • Batteries separately purchased will only have a 2 year warranty and will not apply to the chassis of the Back-UPS

  • For PPS (Portable Power Station), these models also have extended warranty available for 1 year only. Example: PPS730 has a 2 year hardware Factory warranty. If you purchase a 1 year extended warranty, the unit now has 3 years coverage for the hardware warranty.
