Before these push to test pilot lights made available in 22mm operators, the suggestion was using an illuminated pushbutton with (1) NO and (1) NC contact. The normal pilot light circuit is wired through the normally closed contact, and the test circuit is wired through the normally open contact. Customer will also have to jumper between the contacts.
