Which versions of ASi Masters must we select to manage different versions of ASi slaves?
ASi is a sensor bus standard which has evolved.
=S= has developed different versions of ASi Masters according to the PLC ranges. (TSXMICRO, Premium, M340, M580, Quantum).


So in our catalog,=S= proposes different  version of ASi masters V1.0, V2.0, V3.0.
In parallel different versions of ASi Slaves (V1.0, V2.0, V2.1, V3.0) are available in the market.

ASi slaves V2.1 and V3.0 required an ASi master V3.0.
  • =S= has developed an ASi master V3. The reference is "BMXEIA0100". This master can be used with M340 and M580 PLC ranges. It's able to manage ASi salves V1, V2.0, V2.1, V3.0

  • The TSXSAY1000 for Prermium PLC range is a master V2. It's able to manage ASi salves V1 and V2.0.

General informations:
Let know that slaves V2.1 has been specified in 2002 and slaves V3.0 has been specified in 2004.
Slaves V2.1 used 4  Input  bit and 3  Output bit. The ASi cycle is 10ms and 64 slaves can be configured.
Slaves V3.0 used 4 Input bit and 4 output bit. The Asi cycle for Inputs is 10ms. The Asi cycle for Outputs is 20ms.
