Issue:
How does a basic pressure switch work?

Product Line:
Digest 177 Section 22 : Pressure, Vacuum and Float switches

Environment:
North American Products

Cause:
Operation clarification

Resolution:
The switch has a `turn ON` set point and a `turn OFF` set point. ie.a 20-40 switch turns ON at 20psi or below and turns OFF at40psi or above. This range or differential prevents contact chatter in electromechanical devices.
