How to resolve SoMove/EcoStruxure Machine Expert/EcoStruxure Control Expert crash issue after TeSys island DTM Library is installed
Description of the Problem:
Customers using V2.2.2 of TeSys island DTM Library might experience SoMove/ESME/ESCE* crash when they install any other version of TeSys island DTM library and open SoMove/ESME/ESCE.DTMs impacted:
TeSys island DTM library V2.2.2Root Cause:
There is a bug in the TeSys island DTM library V2.2.2 installer which deregisters FDT DLL during uninstallation.This causes SoMove/ESME/ESCE to crash.
Solution:
Note: Perform the following steps strictly in the order mentioned.- Uninstall TeSys island DTM Library V2.2.2
- Install/Re-install the existing/new version of SoMove.
- If ESME/ESCE is installed on the machine and not SoMove, Install/Re-install ESME/ESCE. Alternatively, Install latest version of SoMove.
- Install latest TeSys island DTM Library.
