Which kind of ethernet cable shall I used for cabling a remote I/O ethernet architecture on M580 configuration .

Schneider-Electric recommends the use of SFTP (Shielded and Foil Twisted Pair) Cat5e or Cat6 (10/100 Mbps) cables, especially the cables listed below :
  • TCSECN3M3M••••: Cat 5E Ethernet straight-through shielded cable, rated for industrial use,,CE- or UL-compliant
  • TCSECE3M3M••••: Cat 5E Ethernet straight-through shielded cable, rated for industrial use, CE-compliant
  • TCSECU3M3M••••: Cat 5E Ethernet straight-through shielded cable, rated for industrial use, UL-compliant
These kind of cables are compliant with industrial applications and increase the robustness of the application against potential EMC disturbances.
