Floating License Manager Installation Fails

Issue

During the installation of the Floating License Manager Installation a system error message will pop indicating "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program might fix this problem".

The vcruntime140_1.dll mentioned in the pop-up, belongs to Visual C++. It's a prerequisite for the Floating License Manager (a later FLM can require a later Visual C++ Redistributable). When the installer detects that it's already present, it's not being installed.

Sometimes, in case the Visual C++ is corrupt, Microsoft may not be able to provide a corresponding diagnosis.

In order to resolve the issue, try and reinstall the Visual C++ Redistributable which can be found on Microsoft's website.
