Please share with us the details related to working of the CLOSE INHIBIT [Terminals 17-18 of the CIP1 motor mechanism ]of an RM6 Circuit Breaker

The inhibit closing between X3:17-18 is just a simple hardwired interlocking facility. The customer can connect a dry contact from external in order to prevent the closing in some conditions defined by themselves if necessary. As an example, allowing the closing of the downstream RM6 only if the upstream breaker is closed. Please see below drawing of the CIP1 - by default, there is a jumper between 17-18 terminals.
