How do I extract event logs from a PM8000?
Issue
My customer has a Linux operating system and they are unable to install ION Setup or PME. Is there a way to extract the event log from the PM8000 meters either through an ‘export’ module, SFTP or webpage?

With Datalogs there are 2 ways to export from the meter. The first is to use propriety protocol called ION with software such as ION Setup, Power Monitoring Expert or Power Operation.
The second option is with a module called Log Export Module. Refer to ION Reference for more details. In Summary the meter will send email with log data attached as an xml file.
