What could be a reason why an Ethernet/IP scanner is unable to communicate with a STBNIC2212 even though it appears to be configured correctly ?

If using a "STORED" IP address in the STBNIC2212, ensure that the  device name field is left blank, for the IP address to actually get assigned on power up.

IP address assignment process

A clue for this cause could be that the  "NS" LED light is OFF.
