I need to understand how to generate a perpetual license in the Software Companion Portal?
Resolution
After you you have purchased a perpetual software license, you will receive an email with a Subscription Number to use to generate the related licenses in the Software Companion Portal
To generate perpetual software licenses please follow the below process:

In the navigation pane, select Classic Sales Portal.

Click Generate Licenses and select Purchased Licenses.

Copy the Subscription Number from the email and paste the number into the search bar on the Retrieve Order Details page.

Click the Search button to retrieve the order details.

Click Select. The Select License Version form is displayed. No action is required on this page.

Click Next. The Customer Sites form is displayed.

Enter the customer site name where the license will be used and click Search.

Click Select for the customer site.

Click Select for the system where the license will be used. If It is new system you can add a name for it.
NOTE: Identify and select the correct system. If you do not select the correct system and then complete the procedure, you will need to contact Technical Support to correct the mistake. See Where to Find Support.
The Review and Generate form is displayed.

Verify the details are correct, then click Generate. A Processing License Request form indicates the progress of the license generation process. When the process completes, the confirmation window displays the software Activation IDs and the email address where the License Certificate email was sent.

Use the Activation IDs to activate the license within the software.
TIP: To view the system details from the Projects list, click the
menu in the Actions column, and select View System.
