How to Configure Firewall Rules on SAGE RTU
Issue:
Need to secure network traffic by applying firewall rules on the RTU.
Product:
SAGE RTU with Config@WEB Secure Software
Environment:
- Firmware version C3414-500-S02YZ or later
- Access to Config@WEB GUI
Cause:
Unrestricted network access can expose the RTU to cybersecurity risks.
Resolution:
- Navigate to CPU Configuration → Configure Firewall.
- Click Configure Firewall button.
- Enter firewall rules using the syntax described in the Firewall Configuration Guide: "Wind River Firewall and NAT PROGRAMMER'S GUIDE 6.8" available at: https://www.windriver.com/
- Submit changes and reset the RTU for rules to take effect.
