Generating a Developer License for Power Monitoring Expert or Power Operation

Issue
I need to be able to generate a Developer License for PME (EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert) or EPO (EcoStruxure Power Operation) via the Software Companion Portal.

Resolution

Developer licenses are available to set up, configure, and test PME and EPO and software systems. A user may create one Developer license per version of each software product and this license is valid for one year.

1. First head to the Software Companion Portal and log in.
   
   
2. In the navigation bar, click Classic Sales Portal.
   
   
3. Select Generate Licenses, then select Developer License.
   
   The My Developer Licenses form is displayed.
   
   
4. (Optional) Set the Expiry Notifications switch to ON to receive an email notification when your developer license has less than 30 days remaining.
   
   
5. Click Create License for the required software product.
   
   
6. In the Select License Version form, click Next.
   
   
7. In the Review and Generate form, verify the details are correct, then click Generate.

A Processing License Request form indicates the progress of the license generations process. When the process completes, the confirmation window displays the software Activation IDs and the email address where the Summary email was sent.
