Ecostruxure Process Expert 2021: Build error appearing after generating ERT module with SA library

This knowledge base article explains user on how to resolve the build error when tried to generate supervision project after assigning an ERT module instance with SA library 2021.

This Knowledge base article is valid for Ecostruxure Process Expert 2021 only and the issue has been resolved in Ecostruxure Process Expert 2023 SA library.

When user has assigned an instance with "$BMXERT1604" template in Supervision project and then generate & Build, then user will get the below shown error.

This error indicates that "SGC_PRIV_DI_FAIL" string is not having a correct integer value or string itself not found. This string is used for timestamped digital alarms as privilege.

Basically this string "SGC_PRIV_DI_FAIL" is coming from SGC library and is not properly taken care in SA library. However, this issue has been fixed in EPE2023 SA library.

There is a workaround to resolve this issue in EPE2021 with EPE2021 SA library which is mentioned below.

User needs to create a Label named with "SGC_PRIV_DI_FAIL" and the value must be given as 1, in the Main Project under refinement of supervision project. Then Supervision project shall build without any errors.
