Issue:
ATV61/ATV71 Line reactor or DC choke requirements

Product Line:
Altivar 61 71 ATV61 ATV71

Environment:
High HP units, greater than 100HP, 460V, greater than 75HP, 230V

Cause:
DC chokes are included standard, but the drives can be ordered without a DC choke - form D.

Resolution:
If the DC choke is not used, a 5% line reactor must be installed on the line side of the drive.
This applies to ATV61/71 sizes:
125 HP 460V and above
75 HP 230V  and above
