Cause:
Time Constant, kT, is the number of units (kWh,kVah,kVARh) per output transition.

Resolution:
The digital output uses KY pulsing. This means that the relay changes from open to closed or from closed to open whenever kT units have been measured (20 transitions/second maximum).
