Product Line:
PowerChute Network Shutdown Appliance for VMware

Environment:
PowerChute 4.x and 5.x VM running on a VMware ESXi host.

Cause:
SSH is not running.

Solution:
Note: All commands are in Bold Italic

Log in to the Appliance using VMware vSphere Client.

Check to see if SSH is running. The command is
systemctl status sshd

If the service is not running, run this command
systemctl start sshd

If you would like the service to start automatically with the VM, enter the command

When logging in as root, if the error "Access is Denied" appears, see Schneider ElectricFAQ000271236

Note: We recommend disabling SSH access when it is not required.
