How many Client TCP/IP connections can the M1E simultaneously have?
Client Paths
The M1 Ethernet controller supports 80 client paths. 64 are dedicated to I/O Scanner and 16 for MSTR. You cannot have more than 16 active MSTRs at any given time.
Each of the 80 client paths can initiate any of the following three MODBUS commands:. Function code 3 for reading 1 to 125 registers from the target, function code 16 for writing 1 to 100 to the target, and function code 23 for writing 1 to 100 registers to the target and reading 1 to 125 registers from the target.
