The following steps can be used to re-install the Connexium Network Manager (CNM) software without losing the authorization:
- Start CNM.
- Create a backup zip file by clicking on File\Save Backup.
- Close CNM.
- Insert the CNM installation CD
- Run the setup for the CNM installation (This will uninstall CNM). After the uninstall finishes, you will be prompted to run the setup again.
- Install CNM by running the setup again.
- Start CNM.
- The configuration and database information should appear after starting up. The license information should also still be preserved.
- Restore the backup if needed.
