What Causes Intermittent Communication Issues with the VW3A3320 Ethernet Combo Card?
Resolution:
If intermittent communication issues occur, verify whether there are other PLCs or controllers connected to the network that are offline or not operating correctly. Devices in this condition can generate network traffic that may affect communications. Disconnect or isolate these devices and check whether communication stability improves.
Check also that communications cables are not in the same route or conduit for power cables, as this could cause interferences on the communication.
During installation, also ensure that the protective heat sticker has been removed from the Ethernet card. Leaving the sticker in place may affect proper card operation.
