Inverting CT polarity on EM4000 / EM4800 / E4800 using EM4800 Configuration Tool
Issue
The EM4000 / EM4800 / E4800 is reading incorrectly due to an inverted CT. The customer is not able to physically invert the CT; however he/she would like the meter to read correctly.
Environment
EM4800 Configuration Tool
Resolution
To invert the CT polarity via the EM4800 Configuration Tool, place a negative sign in front of the CT primary value. An example is shown below:
If the CT ratio is 600:5, the Current value should be changed from 600 to -600.
