Could NOR support auto switch-over of redundant communications?
Answer:
The NOR by itself does not support two communications auto switch-over & in fact physically it doesn't support both ethernet cable and serial cable use in parallel.
However, in terms of redundant communication, customer could realize the same at protocol level.
As for NOR playing as clients, it supports multiple channels so that customer could leverage them to realize redundant signals reading.
As for NOR playing as sever, it only supports one session although multiple channels, so the redundancy is realized at SCADA level via two TCP channels.
