Smartlink and PowerTag Link can only be upgraded with EcoStruxure Power Commission (EPC).

Avoid to upgrade Smartlink or PowerTag Link gateway through a network configuration using routers. The Firmware upgrade process may fail if you are using this configuration.

Best architecture to upgrade your Smartlink SI-D, SI-B or PowerTag Link is to be connected in Ethernet point to point.
If you cannot be connected in point to point, ensure you have only one Ethernet Switch between your Smartlink / PowerTag Link and EPC.
