EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO) 2021: Graphics editor crashes after duplicating a new component
Issue
When grouping several objects together as a component; after a few copies and pastes of the new component in the Graphics Editor, the application crashes with the following error message:
Graphics Editor – Unexpected Error
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
The Graphics Editor application doesn't open again unless deleting the TGML file from the TGML folder.
Product Line
EcoStruxure Power Operation 2021 CU2/ CU3
Environment
Graphics Editor
Cause
When you copy and paste a new component, a new property called InstanceId is created under custom properties. InstanceID is unique but causes the application failure.
Resolution
The workaround is to delete the Instanceld property. Please right-click and delete the InstanceId line under Custom.
Note: The problem will be addressed in future updates.
