For primary overcurrent protection, we recommend using a C 1A curve MCB (iC60N 1P+N C 1A ref. A9F74601)

This device has an impedance of less than 0.5A and no nuisance tripping under inrush current.

Secondary-Side Protection:

  • iTRs (including A9A15220) are self-protected against secondary-side short circuits. The internal protection mechanism will cut off power to the transformer coil in the event of a fault.

Resetting the PTC:

  • In the event of a fault, you must disconnect the primary network (230V) to reset the PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) so that the iTR can become operational again
