Issue:

Need to secure network traffic by applying firewall rules on the RTU.

Product:

SAGE RTU with Config@WEB Secure Software

Environment:

• Firmware version C3414-500-S02YZ or later
• Access to Config@WEB GUI

Cause:

Unrestricted network access can expose the RTU to cybersecurity risks.

Resolution:

1. Navigate to CPU Configuration → Configure Firewall.
2. Click Configure Firewall button.
3. Enter firewall rules using the syntax described in the Firewall Configuration Guide: "Wind River Firewall and NAT PROGRAMMER'S GUIDE 6.8" available at: https://www.windriver.com/
4. Submit changes and reset the RTU for rules to take effect.
