Product Line:
LV Transformers

Environment:
Applies to Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric

Cause:
Many types of Transformers are available from SquareD/Schneider Electric

Resolution:
The Control Power Transformers provide generally better regulation.
The CPTs meet UL, CSA and IEC standards vs. UL/CSA for the resin.
All CPTs are 50/60hz rated vs. single frequency for the standard resin; although 50/60 Hz resin units are available as special order.
The CPTs have screw terminals for connection vs. wire leads for most resin units.
The CPTs are an open core and coil vs. an enclosed NEMA 3R or NEMA 4X rating for the resin product.
