How can we help you today?

Is there a specific location within the panel where the SDSA1175 or SDSA1175T should be installed to ensure proper functionality or compliance with electrical standards?

To optimize the performance of the SDSA1175/SDSA1175T surge protective device (SPD), conductors should be twisted and kept as short as possible by trimming excess wire. Avoid looping, coiling, or introducing sharp bends in the conductors, as these can increase impedance and reduce surge suppression effectiveness. The SPD should be connected to the circuit breaker(s) located in closest proximity to minimize lead length. Extended conductor lengths can significantly degrade the device’s clamping response and overall performance.
