Resolution:
The ATS22 is very tolerant to running small motors. It is designed to provide motor overload protection for FLA at least 40% of the softstarter rating.
Parameter (In) setting range is 0.4xIcL to IcL, with IcL being the softstarter's amperage rating.
If a smaller motor is used, an external overload relay should be used.
