No. there are no longer repair parts available for the series E1 HCN panels for both N1 and N3R. They must replace the panel. Their Series E-2 HCN panels are also obsolete so they must replace the entire panel with the new HCM panel. The HCM panel is 32" wide.

No. Ground fault capable LSIG main breakers for I-Line panels are NOT available in NEMA 3R enclosures. The GF feature requires a box extension for the Neutral CT assembly and NEMA 3R boxes cannot be extended. Possible solutions are to switch to a NEMA 1 application or to use a remote main breaker in a separate enclosure with a Micrologic LSIG trip unit.

This is because of the inavailability of Finger Safe covers for crimp/compression lugs used for breakers acting as the service entrance are not available.

The PK32DGTACU Ground barconsists of a Copper bus bar and Copper branch bars

Installing, operating and maintenance

I-line panelboards all have 3 bus bars. However, typically in a single phase application, the A and C phases are used for that application when it is factory assembled from the plant. It is always a good idea to verify the phase connections before purchasing a new or replacement branch breaker.

Yes. Powerpact H and J frame breakers will fit into a Type HCW I-Line on either side of the center bus stack.

No. We can not recommend a back entry since all panelsare designed and tested for top or bottom entry only.As a result, we do not have any back mountingdimensions or information to provide.
If customer decided to do aback entry, they will need to determine their own entrypoints and it will be between the customer and localinspector as to acceptability.

The CE3200B breaker is obsolete.The Replacement breaker is a Square D JDL36200 breaker with a JDCMH mounting kit. This breaker is rated 14KAIC at 600V.The JDCMH will mount two J frame breakers.
An S37445 is included in the JDCMH to convert breaker from Lug-Lug to Lug-Pad. If a second breaker is being mounted on the JDCMH Hardware, order an additional S37445.
Hardware Kit requires both sides of panel and will only mount PowerpactJ Breakers.

These are blank extensions, which are added on to the end of a breaker to fill in the additional space in a deadfront to prevent exposure of the bus.
HLW4EBL is to be added onto the end of H and J frame breakers with Micrologic 5 or 6 trip units mounted on the wide side of an I-line panelboard.

I-Line main breaker panels are available factory assembled either as top or bottom feed. HCN,HCM, HCW, and HCP Panels in the digest are all designed for bottom feed and can be modified in the field for top feed. You would remove the main breaker, rotate the interior 180 degrees, reverse the lugs on the main breaker, and reinstall (now on top of the interior).

NOTE: Rotating the interior will affect the location of larger backfed main breaker (wide side only) on HCWM-U and HCR-U. On a bottom feed interior, the ``wide side`` is on the left of the bus stack. On a top feed interior, the ``wide side`` is on the right side of the bus stack.

There is a maximum of HQO distribution load centers allowed which = 7 . Since there are a max of 6, 1 pole spaces per load center, the maximum amount of QO Branch breakers that could be added would = 42 . This is due to the solid neutral not being able to support more than that.

The Nema 1, 4 piece trimswithout the door for HCJ , HCP, HCRU I line interiors, will allow the Motor Operator feature for the H and J Frame breakers to be installed.

Yes, the SL800 subfeed lug kit will fit into an HCM I-Line panel interior .

UPDATE (2018): The SL800 is now replaced by the SL800M5 subfeed lug kit. This is rated for (3) - 3/0 to 500 MCM conductors. This will work in the HCM, HCP, HCP-SU and HCR-U I-Line panelboards.

For a Bottom feed panel:

Top (opposite mains) = 12.4``
Bottom (mains end) = 16.3``
Left (wide) side = 11.0``
Right (narrow) side = 5.2``

For TOP Feed application :
Top and Bottom dimensions would be reversed for wire bending dimensions
Wide side gutter dimension would be on the Right side vs Left side as indicated for Bottom feed wire bending dimensions .

No, the I line panelboard mounting foot is not available as a replacement part. The complete I-Line breaker needs to be replaced.

The single lug is2509825110. It isfor 4-750 MCM cable per phase. Would need 3 pcs of this unless there's a neutral then 4.
Exception: THIS LUG CANNOT BE USED ON THE HCR548612U INTERIOR.

Use a HCM14484. It has the same amount of branch mounting space and will fit in the old 38`` high box. However, the original trim will not fit and there is no replacement trim available.

There are no replacement Door kits for the NF/NQ/I Line and QMB Nema 3R panelboard enclosures , an entire box w/ trim must be ordered.

The I-Lineconnector cannot be removed or retrofittedin the field or by the factory. A new circuit breaker must be ordered with the lug in/out terminations.A unit mount breaker, with lug in and lug out cannot be converted to an I-line breaker.
