What can cause an InF4 or internal error 4 on the ATV630 and ATV930 Process drives?

Resolution.

An InF4 (Internal Error 4) fault on an ATV630 or ATV930 Process Drive indicates an issue with EEPROM memory access, specifically involving the EEPROM APP or EEPROM MC memory areas.

This fault may be caused by:

  • An EEPROM read/write access error
  • Corrupted parameter data
  • An internal control block memory issue

Recommended Actions

  1. Perform a Factory Reset

    • Execute a factory reset using:
      • RAZI = 256 (Factory Settings), or
      • RAZI = 512 (First Power Up)
  2. Check Drive Operation

    • After the reset, verify whether the fault has been cleared and the drive operates normally.
  3. Replace the Control Block

    • If the fault persists after performing a factory reset, the control block may be defective and should be replaced.
