Why can’t I select a QOB or QOB-VH Main Breaker to install on a 100A NQ Panelboard interior for a UL Service Entrance application”

UL Service Entrance applications require barriers to limit the risk of inadvertent contact with exposed energized parts. In NQ 100A (and 225A) Panelboards, this is provided by HJQLLC line lug covers installed over PowerPact H, J, or Q frame main breakers. There currently are no covers for QOB or QOB-VH branch mounted main breakers suitable for UL Service Entrance applications in NQ panelboards.
