Product Line:
Wiser
Resolution:
Electrical equipment should be installed, operated, serviced, and maintained only by qualified personnel. No responsibility is assumed by Schneider Electric for any consequences arising out of the use of this material.
UPDATE 08/08/2025 - The Wiser Energy app will be decommissioned and replaced by the Schneider Home app. Further information is available in this document.
If you hear repeated beeps or no sound at all, this may mean that Wiser energy monitor was not properly installed. Please turn off the breaker that the Wiser energy monitor is connected to and check the following:
- The red and black power wires are connected to a 240 Vac breaker
- The white wire is connected to the neutral bus
- All cables are connected to the Wiser energy monitor
- The Wiser energy monitor breaker and solar breakers are both ON
- The labels on the current sensors are facing the same direction (either both towards or both away from the breakers). If your service mains have loops, please follow the wires to determine the appropriate direction.
If all of the above is correct and the Wiser energy monitor still does not chime or beep, reset the breaker that it is installed on and have your installer check for a flashing LED near the monitor's antenna port. This flashing LED indicates that the monitor is in "pairing mode" and is ready to connect to your mobile device via Bluetooth. You are now ready to set up Wiser Energy.
The Wiser energy monitor will only beep or chime during the installation and registration process. Once the monitor has been registered to an account, it will no longer beep or chime when powering up.
