Schneider Energy Monitor and antenna
The Schneider Energy Monitor can be installed in the interior or exterior of an electrical panel. Its antenna, however, must be outside the panel (at top, bottom, or any side where it fits) to maintain proper wireless connectivity. To position the antenna securely, utilize the knockout plugs built into all panels.
Note: If the Schneider Energy Monitor cannot fit in the interior of the panel with the current sensors, the monitor includes a wall mount you can use to position the Monitor next to the panel.
Current sensors
Your panel must have enough space to fit one or more Schneider Energy Monitor current sensor clamps with dimensions of H 3.375" x W 2" x D 0.75" (85.73 x 50.8 x 19.05mm) and an inside diameter of 1” (25.4mm).
Schneider Energy Monitor sensor cables are 46" (116.84cm) long* and the power cable is 36" (91.44cm) long.
*Note: If necessary, you can increase the length of the sensor cables up to 80’ by purchasing extensions in lengths of 4', 12', 25', and 40'.
