Cannot to upgrade the part number of a version 2.xx single or multi user authorized license to a site license,
Issue
The Advantys Configuration Software version 2.x (i.e., 2.0, 2.2, etc.) registration software does not allow
the user to upgrade the part number of a single or multi user authorized license to a site license,

The Advantys Configuration Software version 2.x (i.e., 2.0, 2.2, etc.) registration software does not allow
the user to upgrade the part number of a single or multi user authorized license to a site license,
The problem is a result of the registration software not being able to recognize the site license part
number and it has been fixed in version 3.0.
To upgrade an installation of the 'Advantys Configuration Software version 2.xx' single or multi user
license to a site license, use the following procedure:
- Start the 'Advantys Configuration Software'.
- Verify that the installtion is version 2.0 or 2.xx, by clicking on Help\About and reviewing the
- Shudown the 'Advantys Configuration Software'.
- Insert the 'Advantys Configuration Software version 3.0' CD and wait for the installation to start.
- Select the language for the installation.
- Click 'OK' to continue.
- Fill in the required information.
- Select the part number for the currently authorized license (i.e., STBSPU1011 for a 10 user
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Click 'OK' to continue.
- After the version 3.0 has been installed, start the software to verify that it is working and still
- Click on Help\About to get the following window.
- Click on 'Transfer Registration'.
- Click on 'Next' in the returned window.
- Select 'Transfer license rights'.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Select 'Transfer license rights to or from USB device'.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Select 'Transfer license rights from this computer to USB device'.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Select your USB device drive letter.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- After the transfer is completed, click on 'Finish'.
- Start the 'Advantys Configuration Software'.
- Select the language to use.
- Click on 'OK'.
- Click on 'Yes' to register the software.
- Select 'Ask for an Authorization code.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Enter the information for the site license part number and serial number.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Call the applicable registration center to authorize the software.
- Enter the authorization codes that is given to you.
- Click 'Next' to continue.
- Click on 'OK'
- Start the 'Advantys Configuration Software'.
- Verify that the installtion is registered as a version 3.0 site license by clicking on Help\About and
