Resolution
The analog I/O data for the analog input and output modules (i.e., FTM 1A...) do not appear in
the TxPDO and RxPDO tables of the 'IO Image Overview'.
The reason why it t does not appear in the 'IO Image Overview' is because, when a configuration is
built, the Advantys Configuration Software only maps the digital I/O module data that the exec fimrware
of the 'FTM Network Interface Module' allows. Due to limitations, the exec firmware does allow not
the mapping of the analog I/O module data.
To workaround this, the user must define the mapping for the analog I/O module data using the following
steps:
- Unlock the island.
- Open the I/O Image Overview.
- Right click and select "Insert Mapping..
- Check off the items that you want to be mapped into the TxPDO or RxPDO tables.
- Click 'OK' to close the 'Select...' window.
The following screen capture shows the mapped table.
