Video: How to change the type of stop on an ATS48 from freewheel to ramp stop?
Issue:

Product Line:
Altistart 48 series soft starters.
Environment:
All makes, All models
Cause:
Customer needs a ramp stop to allow a check valve to close slowly to prevent water hammering.
Resolution:
Under the Settings Menu (Set) set parameter STY to D to select a deceleration stop type.
Under the Settings Menu (Set) set parameter DEC to the time, in seconds, that you want the starter to take to bring the motor to a stop after the run command is removed.
