Video: Accessing the coil in the TeSys D Line (LC1D) Contactors

Issue:
How do we access the coil in the 9-38A rated D line contactor for replacement or inspection?

Resolution:
In order to access the AC coil you will need to use a small screw driver to press in the tabs located halfway down the top and bottom of the contactor. This will release the back of the contactor so that you can remove the old AC coil and insert the new coil.

DC coils are not serviceable. TeSys D line contactors with DC coils must be disposed properly in accordance with End-of-Life documentation found here:
