In an Ethernet IP daisy chain configuration, what happens to other network drives if one of the VFDs is powered down?
Issue:
If Altivar drives are Ethernet IP daisy chained and one drive is shut down, communication will be lost?

Environment:
All drive serial number with Ethernet communication option card installed
Cause:
N/A
Resolution
The drives down stream from the one that is shut down will lose communication with the PLC.
The drives between the PLC and the shut down drive will maintain communications.
