Why do I get the error "Failed to import the Project. The format of the specified file may be invalid." in Vijeo Designer?
Issue
When trying to import a .VDZ project into Vijeo Designer, a popup dialog appears with the following message: "Failed to import the Project. The format of the specified file may be invalid."

This error is usually associated with a corrupted or invalid VDZ project. The file structure of the file was altered in such a way that it cannot be read. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover such a file and the only option is to obtain a backup copy from an archive or the original programmer of the project.
