Issue
Does this message indicate that there is a difference in the behavior of the MATH blocks in Unity versus Concept?
Product Line
EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly known as Unity Pro)
Environment
Unity Pro v10
Resolution
After converting a Concept application to import log could show the following message:
When you import to Unity Pro from another configuration software some functions may behave differently.
For example:
- Unity Math functions might not behave the same as legacy 984 (overflow, underflow, etc.)
This message does not infer that there is a difference in the behavior of the Math function blocks between Unity and
Concept. The Math blocks Unity will function the same as they did in Concept.
The message is only intended to convey a warning to the user. There is no guarantee that the logic has been converted
properly. The logic should be checked after the conversion to ensure that the block and register assignment is converted
correctly, before running the application. If the block or register assignment does not get converted correctly, it could result
in a different behavior.
