Below is a possible error message found in the log file:

Transaction (Process ID 54) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

Resolution
*Warning: Irreparable database damage can occur. This procedure should only be performed by users familiar with SQL Server Management Studio. Databases should be backed up prior to performing this procedure.*

To resolve this, run the script called 'NOM12_ChangeDBOwner.sql' manually in SQL Server Management Studio.
This script can be found in the ...\Power Monitoring Expert\system\scripts directory. To run the script perform the following:

1. Open SQL Server Management Studio and connect to the instance where PME is located.
2. In the menu bar Select File -> Open -> File... and select the 'NOM12_ChangeDBOwner.sql'
3. Select the desired database (ION_Network or ION_Data) to run the script against in the 'Available Databases' dropdown.
4. Click Execute.

Note: You can also edit the .sql script with text editor (such as notepad) and manually copy and paste the contents of the script directly into a New Query using SQL Management Studio. This may be desirable if the script does not exist on the machine in which you are running the SQL query.

After the script completes, rerun the Installer choosing 'Resume' if you have shut down the Installer. If the installer is still running, choose 'Try Again'.
