Cause:
There are multiple reasons someone may want to start fresh with a software such as StruxureWare DCE. Starting from scratch can help with troubleshooting odd issues or may verify that a specific configuration is causing some unwanted behavior.

Resolution:

To start fresh with DCE, you will want to do a system restore. If you do not have the current version, you may need to contact your local tech support to obtain the download link. If you plan to re-import a previous backup, be sure that you have not only made a backup but that you also restore the DCE server to the same version as importing a backup will not work from a different version.
