What is the Fan PID function on the Altivar 600 Process Drive?

The Fan PID allows the user to setup a basic PID function when the drive's Macro Configuration (Menu 7.1) is set to Generic Fan Control.
There is no difference in the parameters and the settings than when setting up a pump PID.
