A common cause of high CPU usage on the HMIG5U/HMIG5U2, or Magelis iPC in general, can be attributed to Windows Update running in the background when there is no internet connection. It will constantly try to reach out to the server, even if there is no internet connection. The remedy would be to turn off the Windows Update.
