How to Create a Setting File in Advance Without the Physical Device

If I do not have the Powerlogic P3 device, how can I create a setting file and configure settings in advance?

Customers may need to prepare configuration files before receiving or accessing the actual device.

Resolution

eSetup Easergy provides a Create function that allows generating a settings file for a Powerlogic P3 relay without the physical device.
To do this:

1. Open eSetup Easergy.
2. Click the Create setting file icon (the left‑most icon on the icon bar).
3. Select the device model and features that match the device you will use later.
4. Configure all settings in advance and save the file for future loading to the actual device.
