No, the M340 and M580 SD card are not compatible. They both have special formatting required by the PLC.
The BMXRMS004GPF memory card is formatted specifically for the M580 CPUs.
NOTE:
If you insert an incompatible SD memory card in the CPU:
l The CPU remains in NO_CONF state.
l The CPU BACKUP LED turns ON.
l The memory card access LED remains OFF.
