Video: How do I configure Lexium 28 to become active without requiring an input ?
It is possible to configure Lexium 28 for Automatic activation in which the drive will Activate as soon as power has been applied.
This will be true provide there are no errors preventing the drive from becoming active.
Start by assigning the first digital input as the input to turn the drive on, and configure the input to be a normally close type contact.
Do this by adjusting parameter P2-10 to 0001.
Next adjust parameter P2-68 for "Activation of the Power Stage Automatically if SON input is active" .
Do this by setting P2-68 to 0001.
Now power cycle the drive for the settings to be accepted.
The drive will now automatically activated when the power is applied and no errors are present.
This will be true provide there are no errors preventing the drive from becoming active.
