Can the ION meter template file be read before sending it to the meter?

A user wants to view an ION template file before sending it to the meter

Resolution

The meter template file (DCF) is not human-readable and therefore cannot be read before sending it to the meter. When opened in a text editor like notepad, the file will display non standard characters.
