Control Expert 14 returns 'Integrity Check' error after installing 'ControlExpert_V140_HF0517185R' hotfix.

Issue
Control Expert 14 returns 'Integrity Check-Severe Warning' error after installing 'ControlExpert_V140_HF0517185R' hotfix.

Product Line
Control Expert 14.

Environment
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10.

Resolution
'Control Expert 14 returns' an Integrity Check -Sever Warning' error when trying to start.  This could occur after updating Unity 13.1
to Control Expert 14 followed by the installation of the hotfix file named 'ControlExpert_V140_HF0517185R'.

The reason the issue occurred is due to a conflict with another integrity check file running on the PC.   The installation of
Control Expert and the hotfix may not have properly deleted the older integrity check file for Unity 13.1.  As a result of this,
Control Expert will attempt to run both 'Integrity Check' files when it is started.

Examination of the folder named ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Schneider Electric Shared\SRCSDK' will show two files named
'IntegrityCheckSRCSDK.bin' and 'IntegrityHotfix_0487772R_SrcSdk.bin'.  (The file named  'IntegrityHotfix_0487772R_SrcSdk.bin' is a
Unity 13.1 hotfix installed file)

The following steps can be used to resolve the issue:
  • Navigate to the path described in the 'Integrity check' error window ('C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Schneider Electric Shared\SRCSDK).
  • Locate the file named 'IntegrityHotfix_0487772R_SrcSdk.bin ' and delete it.
